Is It Possible for Suicide Bombing to Be a Moral Act?
To the Editor:
People who engage in moral discussion of Palestinian suicide bombings seem to fall into one of two categories. The first category, the majority, consists of those who feel that suicide bombings are wrong and should be condemned. In "Are Suicide Bombings Morally Defensible?" (The Review, October 24), Richard Wolin falls neatly into that category.
Those in the second category are more sensitive to the particular facts of the Israeli occupation. They argue that
