Is Harvard's President Unfairly Singling Out Black-Studies Professors for Scrutiny?

The controversy surrounding Lawrence H. Summers and Cornel West raises a number of very troubling questions ("Battle of Wills at Harvard," January 18). Reports of President Summers's meeting with Professor West indicate that Summers questioned West's involvement with the Rev.
