Irish Universities Criticize Government Support for MIT's Dublin Lab
Some Irish universities have attacked the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MediaLabEurope, in Dublin, for getting too much government money that they say could be better spent elsewhere. The criticism, which also comes from taxpayers, has intensified since government documents revealed that the Irish prime minister ignored his advisers when he committed $50-million to the project.
