Iraq Looks for U.S. Partners in New Scholarship Program
Los Angeles
The government of Iraq is moving ahead with the Iraq Education Initiative, a new scholarship program that will fast-track qualified Iraqi students to study in the United States.
Speaking to a packed room here on Thursday at the annual conference of Nafsa: Association of International Educators, Zuhair A.G. Humadi, one of the key architects of the program, said his government was looking for more American universities to join the effort.
