Iowa Plans an Online-Education Network
The Iowa Board of Regents has approved a plan to create a statewide online-education program that will bring together existing offerings by the state's public universities and community colleges.
The project will include a Web site that lists online courses from every institution. Students will be able to transfer course credits among the state's 15 community colleges and three universities to complete undergraduate degrees.
