Iowa Foundation Must Make Records Public, State's High Court Rules
The Iowa State University Foundation must open its records to the public, the state's Supreme Court ruled this month, but the court left room to interpret which records will be subject to public scrutiny.
In a unanimous opinion written by Justice Michael J. Streit, the court ruled that the foundation was "performing a government function, and therefore its records are subject to disclosure."
