Invitations to Missouri Governor's Event Are Questioned

The president of Northwest Missouri State University, in a memorandum sent to administrators and passed on to some professors last month, suggested that employees make "a strong showing" at a fund-raising event for Missouri Governor Mel Carnahan in his bid for a U.S. Senate seat.
