Investors Increase Their Stakes in 3 Higher-Education Companies
Investors continue to pour money into higher-education companies. Three of them -- all privately held -- have received infusions of capital from new private-equity investors in the past two months.
One of the deals, announced this month, involved an investment in the company that owns Virginia College, a system serving 6,000 students on campuses in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Texas.
