Interpreting the Kent State Shootings

We wish to comment on factual and policy errors in Stephen Sivulich's essay ("After 30 Years, We Can Still Learn From Kent State," Opinion, April 28). Sivulich describes the events of May 4, 1970, at Kent State University, when elements of the Ohio National Guard killed four Kent State students and wounded nine others.
