International-Study Group Is Awarded Copycat Domain Name
The Institute for the International Education of Students, an academic consortium that promotes overseas studies, scored a victory when an arbitrator ordered that a domain name mimicking the consortium's own name be transferred to I.E.S.
The domain name in dispute was iesabroad.com, which I.E.S. argued was confusingly similar to its own domain name, iesabroad.org (http://www.iesabroad.org).
