International Educators Honor 5 Colleges for Outward-Looking Programs
Officials who try to make their campuses more international often say they feel as if they are crying in the wilderness.
Nafsa: Association of International Educators, which recently held its annual meeting, is trying to change that situation. The group announced winners of the second annual Senator Paul Simon Awards for Campus Internationalization, named for the late Illinois Democrat, an advocate of study-abroad programs.
