International Deals Carry Potential for 'Sleaze'
David Wippman's BlackBerry is buzzing again. As Cornell University's vice provost for international relations, he is the point person for the institution's delegation touring India to explore potential partnerships.
The group's schedule was set weeks ago, but as word spread through the news media of the visit, he has been deluged with e-mail messages from Indian university officials, U.S.-based consultants, and a few questionable private colleges probably looking to make a quick buck
