Interdisciplinary Course at Dartmouth Tackles Fact and Fiction on Mars

In Ray Bradbury's "The Silent Towns," a story in The Martian Chronicles, the last man on Mars hears the telephone ring and winds up on a farcical blind date. Such a puzzling encounter might well describe how many undergraduates feel while navigating a college's core curriculum.
