Intellectual Property: Digital-Copyright Law Is Ripe for Revision
University lawyers and scientists who follow intellectual-property issues say that among the biggest issues of the coming decade will be long-sought revisions to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Critics of the law have complained ever since it was passed, in 1998, that it favors the financial interests of copyright owners over the needs of librarians, classroom instructors, researchers, and just about everyone
