Intel Founder Pledges $5-Million for Stem-Cell Research
Andrew Grove, founder of the Intel Corporation, a computer-chip maker, says it was his concern over limits on federal support for research on embryonic stem cells that prompted his recent pledge of up to $5-million to the University of California at San Francisco for a new Stem Cell Discovery Fund.
