Innovative Contracts Benefit Part-Time Faculty Members and Students

The low pay, scant professional development, and poor office space given to many part-time instructors and lecturers keep them from engaging students, some say. A few colleges, however, have contracts with incentives for part-timers to help students succeed. Following are three examples.
