Information and More at the Library
To the Editor:
An otherwise useful article that discussed the potential merits of RSS technology was hampered by an unfortunate analogy ("A New Technology Lets Colleges Spread Information to People Who Want It," February 13). Your reporter quotes William Grosso as saying: "A Web site is a lot like a library, and an RSS feed is a lot like a card catalog."
While libraries and Web sites both contain information, they otherwise have little in common. At our library's reference
