Inflation for Higher Education Jumps in 2006
The inflation index used for higher education will increase 5 percent in the 2006 fiscal year.
That's the largest increase since 2002 for the Commonfund Institute's Higher Education Price Index, which measures the changes in costs in an average fixed basket of goods and services purchased by higher-education institutions each fiscal year, ending June 30.
