Indiana U. Picks a Philosopher and Campus-Computing Expert as New System President
Indiana University's Board of Trustees voted on Thursday to name Michael A. McRobbie, the leader of the university's Bloomington campus, as president of the eight-campus system.
A search committee had recommended that Mr. McRobbie succeed the current president, Adam W. Herbert Jr. Mr. McRobbie, who is now interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at the Bloomington campus, will begin his new role on July 1.
