Indiana State's Chief to Leave Next Year
One year after receiving a no-confidence vote from the faculty, the president of Indiana State University, Lloyd W. Benjamin III, publicly announced his resignation last month, a day after giving notice in private to the university's Board of Trustees.
Speaking at a meeting of the trustees, Mr. Benjamin said he and his wife "both have unfulfilled personal and professional ambitions and dreams that cannot be pursued" while he serves as president, according to a written statement
