Indian Scientists Reportedly Told to Leave U.S. Universities
At least seven Indian scientists working as research fellows at U.S. universities reportedly have been asked to leave those institutions in the wake of nuclear-weapons tests by India and Pakistan.
A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi said that the scientists were affiliated with the Indian Institute of Technology, the Indian Institute of Science, and the Babha Atomic Research Center. However, the spokesman could not identify
