Inconsistencies in Blackboard Software

Michael Arnone's article went to great lengths to discuss the potential impact of the Microsoft-Blackboard agreement to cooperate on the decisions about operating systems and servers that Blackboard customers will be making in the future ("Too Close for Comfort?," November 23).

There is a more immediate impact on the browser market that went unmentioned in the article, but that potentially has near-term implications for support requirements of
