COURT BACKS HARVARD U.: Disappointing disability-rights advocates, the highest court of Massachusetts ruled this month that Harvard University had the right to fire a mentally ill employee, Michael Mammone, for what the court called "egregious workplace misconduct." The court said that protections against disability discrimination do not apply when a worker engages in conduct that would result in the firing of any nondisabled person.
