State Digest: Texas Restores Vetoed Community-College Funds, and Other News From the States
Texas officials have agreed to restore $154-million that Gov. Rick Perry vetoed from the state budget for Texas' community colleges earlier this year. The governor, the lieutenant governor, and the Texas House speaker announced the agreement this week.
