In Wake of Serb Exodus, Almost All People at U. of Pristina Are Ethnic Albanians
About 20,000 students are taking classes this semester at the University of Pristina, which is back under ethnic-Albanian control after eight years as a Serbian-language institution. Classes are available in both languages, but almost all of the students and professors now are ethnic Albanians. "They just didn't come," Ahmet Geca, vice-rector of the university, says of the Serbs.
