In 'Oral History,' at College of New Jersey, Students Interview Local People
Who makes history? Presidents? Artists? The nurse next door? The garbage man down the street?
All of the above, says Cynthia Paces, an assistant professor of history at the College of New Jersey. For 11 weeks this semester, the undergraduates in Ms. Paces'"Oral History" course will explore how history is made -- not just by extraordinary individuals but by ordinary people.
