Being an athlete isn't all bad. At least not at Valdosta State University.

Reggie Rhodes, an all-conference defensive lineman there, was jailed on the morning of Saturday, November 30, on an alleged parole violation after a routine traffic stop, according to news reports. But that afternoon, he was released by the Lowndes County (Ga.) Sheriff's Office into the custody of campus police officers, so he could play in the Blazers' playoff game against Carson-Newman University.
