In Colombia, a University Offers Students an Alternative to Violence

Hector Grueso, an aquaculture student at the University of the Pacific, reaches into a black plastic tank and scoops out a struggling freshwater shrimp. He is trying to discover the breeding habits of local shrimp and fish to help neighbors of a devastated river once again catch their own lunches.
