IRAQI U. PRESIDENT ARRESTED: The president of Diyala University, in northeastern Iraq, was arrested in August, the Associated Press has reported. Sunni Muslim politicians accused government security forces of sectarian bias in the arrests of the president, Nazar al-Khafaji, and of a local politician in Diyala province, both of whom are Sunni.
