Shailaja Neelakantan has painted a totally incorrect and highly biased picture of higher-education programs being conducted in Pakistan ("In Pakistan, the Problems That Money Can Bring," The Chronicle, January 19). Ms. Neelakantan's visit raised eyebrows, considering that she was coming from India — with which Pakistan has had three wars in the last 60 years.
