Important Scholarly Stories That Are Never Told
To the Editor:
I am writing regarding the decision made by Stephanie Wood ("Books Unwritten, Stories Untold," April 27). I sympathize with Ms. Wood's dilemma about publishing her book, and find Joaquin Galarza's behavior to be unprofessional, to say the least. I can understand the concern about potential damage to native peoples, or any group that a scholar studies. On the other hand, ... should scholars not discuss the Holocaust because it is potentially damaging to Germany? I think
