'Important Human Issues' in Technology That Enhances the Brain
To the Editor:
In her article on neuroethics, Lila Guterman asserted that the President's Council on Bioethics, in its report called Beyond Therapy, argued "that most forms of medical enhancement are immoral" ("Gray Matters," The Chronicle, June 25). Where could she have gotten such a notion? Even the most cursory reading of the report would reveal that the council argues nothing of the sort.
