Illinois-Chicago Provost to Head U. of Colorado System; Georgia Tech Hires Maryland Professor to Lead School of Literature
After a summer as the lone finalist for the presidency of the University of Colorado System, Elizabeth Hoffman now officially has the job.
The system's Board of Regents voted unanimously this month to hire Ms. Hoffman, a scholar of economics and history who has been the provost and vice chancellor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She will begin leading Colorado's four campuses on September 1.
