Idaho President Quits Amid Financial Crisis

The president of the University of Idaho, Robert A. Hoover, has resigned amid growing concerns over management of a construction project that has spurred a financial crisis for the university and its private foundation.

Mr. Hoover's resignation in April came as the Idaho State Board of Education appointed a lawyer to do a "management review of personnel issues" that arose in the university's construction of a satellite campus, called University Place, in Boise.
