IRS Preserves Tax Break for Donors Who Lease Luxury Boxes at Stadiums

Roger L. (Rod) French is going to enjoy watching the Iowa State Cyclones this fall from his luxury box at the university's Jack Trice Stadium.

Even if the team isn't very good, Mr. French can enjoy the suite life in the knowledge that he and his lawyers and allies saved his fellow suite holders a lot of money that the Internal Revenue Service had threatened to collect.

The agency backed down this month
