Hubble Space Telescope Reveals Faintest Galaxies
Astronomers using two instruments aboard the Hubble Space Telescope have revealed the faintest -- and possibly the farthest -- galaxies ever seen.
The long-exposure infrared image of the previously unseen part of the universe was taken with the space telescope's near-infrared camera and multi-object spectrometer.
