How to Report Lobbying Expenses

To the Editor:

This letter is written to clarify the expenditures related to lobbying on behalf of the University of Tulsa ("In Reporting Lobbying Expenses, Some Institutions Do Not Reveal All," October 23).

You reported that Tulsa spent $80,000 on lobbying activities, as shown by a report filed under the Lobbying Disclosure Act, but that Tulsa reported to the Internal Revenue Service that it spent
