How to Change Your Career

Ben Tryon followed a common path to change careers ("Lessons for the Academic Introvert," Careers, December 16), vividly described by Barbara Ehrenreich's recent book, Bait and Switch: The (Futile) Pursuit of the American Dream (Metropolitan Books, 2005).
