How to Attract More Black Students to Computer Science
LINKED IN WITH...Andrew B. Williams, whose college robotics soccer team seeks to attract more minority women to engineering.
Mr. Williams is an associate professor of computer science at Spelman College, an institution for black women. The robotics team, the Spelbots, is part of a new National Science Foundation alliance that links seven research universities and eight historically black colleges to encourage African-Americans to pursue robotics.
