How UCLA Went About Instituting a 'Holistic' Admissions System

The University of California at Los Angeles announced last fall that it would adopt a more “holistic” admissions model in response to declining black enrollments, and today’s Los Angeles Times has an article describing the training the university’s admissions staff underwent to institute the new system. The article was written by a reporter who was permitted to sit in on the training sessions. —Andrew Mytelka
