When people visit Creighton University’s admissions Web page, their Web browsers are tagged. In April, about 160,000 browsers were tagged on university pages.
People whose browsers have been tagged will see ads for Creighton appear on other Web sites. About 865,000 such ads were generated in April.
A person who clicks on Creighton’s ad will be taken to this page. That happened about 650 times in April. The click-throughs are less important to the university than raising its visibility.
