How I Got Played
A senior professor finally runs out of places to hide and teaches a first-year seminar
The first time I taught a freshman seminar, I had a very good student in my class with a fondness for theater. This year I taught a first-year seminar (as we call it) for the second time, and that former student is coming up for tenure in our theater department.
Clearly, I have weaseled out of teaching that course for many years. I have a hard time wrestling with an entire class of first-year
