Leadership among African universities in applying information technology has come from some unexpected quarters: Eduardo Mondlane University, in Mozambique, and the University of Zambia. Both are public institutions that are dependent for support on impoverished governments; Mozambique, for its part, is also trying to recover from a devastating civil war. |
