House Votes to Close Loan Loophole, Strip Funds From 2 Studies

The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a $602-billion health-and-education-spending bill that would strip federal funds from two academic studies -- both related to behavior -- and temporarily close a student-loan loophole that has provided billions of dollars in subsidies to lenders.
