House Panel Approves Budget Bill
The maximum Pell Grant award would remain level and the budget of the National Institutes of Health would rise only slightly under a spending plan for the 2005 fiscal year approved last week by an appropriations subcommittee of the House of Representatives.
The maximum Pell award would remain at $4,050, the same level as this year, in the new fiscal year, which begins on October 1.
