House Approves More Funds for NSF
The U.S. House of Representatives voted last week for large increases in spending on the National Science Foundation and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The House appropriations for both agencies far exceed the budgets proposed by President Bush and the Senate Appropriations Committee.
The House also restored money for the AmeriCorps program.
