Hotel Chain, the Target of Academic Boycotts, Settles Racial-Bias Lawsuits
The Adam's Mark settled its race-discrimination dispute with the Justice Department last week, but that hasn't persuaded at least one scholarly association to bring its annual meeting back to the hotel chain.
The Organization of American Historians and the Association of American University Presses had both decided to relocate their conventions rather than meet at an Adam's Mark hotel.
