Honesty Pays Off
What would you do if you found a wad of money the size of a loaf of bread? Would you turn it in?
Jaime Hawkins, a finance major at Saint Mary's University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was making a withdrawal from an automated teller machine in the student union when he thought he saw a $20 bill under a newspaper rack next to the ATM. Getting down on the floor, he discovered a block of twenties amounting to $10,000 in Canadian currency (about $8,500 in U.S. currency).
