Holocaust Denier Is Convicted in Austria

The British historian David Irving, who for decades has drawn fierce criticism for claiming that the Nazi genocide of Jews and others did not happen, pleaded guilty in Austrian court last week to denying the Holocaust and was sentenced to three years in jail.
