Texas State University has scuttled plans to build a 17-acre facility for the study of decomposing corpses because of concerns that buzzards might pose a danger to planes at a nearby airport, the Austin American-Statesman newspaper reported. Now they are searching for a new location for the facility. —Charles Huckabee
